The Lord-Sorcerers now fight for control of the upper and safest islands of the Archipelago. Not a day goes by without the earth ripping apart and the seas engulfing the most fragile islands. But today, overpopulation, natural resources depletion, and blind cupidity from the Lord-Sorcerers have created a cataclysmic imbalance in the Erret Archipelago. The Archipelago’s wealth, which would only transit through these bridges, offered every resident a life of comfort and carefreeness. Bridges once conferred the Archipelago greatness and prosperity, and permitted flourishing trade between its islands. A territory where hundreds of islands are connected together by huge bridges. You can play Archipelago alone, but feels like a missed opportunity. You are a surviving Lord-Sorcerer from the Erret Archipelago. PriceĬheap, but a rather expensive compared to what you getĮasy, but sometimes a bit confusing illustrations on set-up and goalsįrom quick to long depending on which scenario is played The luck factor also increases in solo mode and for many that is a rather big turn-off. The scenarios themselves are well designed and do manage to give you a different experience (at least the first few rounds, where you either lose the game or manage to get the correct machinery going). This does seem a bit cheap, especially since a few cards in the base game becomes useless in a solo game. On the other hand, the expansion only adds 27 scenario cards, and only 1 cards is used each game, you get no new components to the base game.
